Pinkie Drop #6

It's been raining for a while now.
And it doesn't look like it'll be letting up anytime soon.

But, Pinkie just can't wait any longer.

Hopefully she bring a ray of sunshine to some lucky child.

Update: Pinky was dropped at the play equipment in the park on Hafen Road east of Hughes Middle School.

Hoppy Drop #5

Hippity, Bippity, Boppity,
Hoppy is on his way.
He's the perfect size and super soft,
just right for small hands to cuddle and love.
Update: Hoppy was dropped at the duck pond on Pioneer and Red Hills Parkway

Found: Buzzzz

Happy Day!

Buzzzz has been adopted! We were very excited to find Buzzzz today and he is the perfect addition to our family. One of the nicknames that our one-year old daughter has is "Bri Bee," so she is now the proud owner of Buzzzz. He even accompanied her to nap time and she has given him many hugs. Thanks so much for a fun surprise!!

Stumpy - Drop #4

Meet Stumpy.
He's a little funny looking, but soft and cuddly.
Stumpy has a little surprise.
Give him a shake to learn his secret.
Good Luck Stumpy!!!
Update: Stumpy was dropped at the bike rack at Virgin Valley Elementary School.

Double pick up

I checked today and both Buzzzz and Slither were picked up!. Slither was at Smith's near the Pharmacy window and Buzzzz was at the Bunkerville LDS church. Hopefully we'll hear from Buzzzz and Slither and get an update on how they are doing.

brrrrrr . . . poor Buzzzz

Poor Buzzzz. He has been sitting outside waiting for a new home for over 24 hours now. I bet he's getting lonely and chilled to the bone as he heads into another dark and dreary night. I sure hope someone finds him and takes him home soon.

Success!

Buzzzz was left at the drop site this morning.
I hope he finds a new home soon.
I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Drat . . . thwarted

I couldn't drop Buzzzz today. There were people at the drop site and I didn't want to risk anyone seeing me. I even tried twice with no luck. I'll try again tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed.

P.S. Wait until you see Slither. He's as cute as Buzzzz is cugly.

The first drop was a smashing success,
so let's try number 2.

He's cute in a humble sort of way.

Why?

I like to sew and I like to be a bit sneaky. I thought this project would combine them both. I got the idea from The Toy Society and thought it would be fun to do something similar here in Mesquite.

Here's how it works. I'll make a small toy and leave it somewhere around town (when I say town I mean Mesquite or Bunkerville) with a note, when someone finds it I hope they'll log on or send an email and leave a comment. I think it'll be fun to see who responds and what comments are made.
